Tauri joined GEBC in October of 2014 after spending 9 years as an Instructor in the Faculty of Business at Brock University where he taught courses in Marketing, Strategic Planning and Business Communications. He also ran a boutique consulting firm specializing in business planning for new ventures. Outside of the office he acts as the president and technical director of a community volleyball club where he also coaches a rep team.

Arnie joined GEBC in March of 2026. He is an Ontario born and bred businessperson and community servant, with a unique combination of entrepreneurial spirit and organization management. His tenure includes recent successes as Director of Operations at ESSE Canada, Executive Director at Employee Ownership Canada, Chief Operating Office at The Canadian Centre for Food Integrity, and Executive Director at the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce. He may still be best known for running his family business, Strub’s Pickles, which was sold in 2008.
Mary Jane Haist

Mary Jane joined GEBC part-time in February 2017. When she is not at GEBC she is running Go To Office Solutions, the business she created in April 2012. Prior to starting her own business Mary Jane worked for the Business Development Bank of Canada, Brock University and in Human Resources for a large entertainment complex. When she’s not working you’ll find Mary Jane enjoying time with her husband and two children.
